Located in Halifax Nova Scotia, on the world’s second largest natural harbour.
COVE provides a place where start-ups, small and medium enterprises, large businesses, and post-secondary institutions can foster innovation and growth in the ocean sector with common use infrastructure, including prototyping and testing facilities.
COVE features include an eight acre site with 12 acres of accessible water lots, 53,120 sq. ft. of office, workshop and shared space, including an on-site incubation facility. Members have direct harbour access with 2,850 ft. of wharf face, featuring two 300+ ft. finger piers with water depth up to 50 ft. Shared mechanical and electronics prototyping and testing facilities allows members to get products out to market faster. The site has acres available for storage lay-down assembly and mobilization in a secure, fenced compound.
