Meet Alison Giovannetti

Alison Giovannetti is the founder and CEO of Day to Day Finance, a modern bookkeeping and office-operations agency based in Sydney, Nova Scotia. With more than a decade of experience in accounting and bookkeeping—and seven years working with the Xero cloud-accounting platform—Alison has built a reputation for making spreadsheets less scary for entrepreneurs. She is a certified Xero advisor and launched her firm to help small businesses close the “administrative gap” between themselves and their financial stakeholders.

Day to Day Finance specializes in monthly bookkeeping, payroll, and GST/HST filing, and Alison also consults on budgeting, HR processes, and systems integration to help clients streamline operations and plan for growth.

Outside the office, Alison serves on the boards of the Cape Breton Food Hub Co-op and the Dobson Yacht Club. She’s also an avid “armcherry” (fan of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast), a runner, a summer-lover, a wine-enjoyer, and a proud cat enthusiast. Her blend of professional rigor and down-to-earth warmth has made her a trusted advisor to small-business owners across Cape Breton.
