AI Build Camp: Create an Expert Character | Sydney

Build and train your own AI expert character while exploring creativity, problem-solving, and responsible AI.

Curious about how artificial intelligence works? In this hands-on one-day camp, youth ages 12–15 will design, build, and test their own AI-powered expert character around a topic they’re passionate about.

Whether it’s space, wildlife, sports, gaming, local history, or something entirely unique, participants will learn how AI combines instructions, knowledge, and personality to create helpful, engaging digital experts. They’ll customize their character, test it with their peers, identify ways to improve its responses, and refine it through hands-on experimentation.

Along the way, campers will strengthen their creativity, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills while gaining a practical introduction to how AI systems are designed and used responsibly.

The day concludes with a showcase where participants present their AI expert and demonstrate what it can do. No coding experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to explore the future of AI.
